Tours & Live Shows
The stage is truth. You have one chance to get things right. Entertainers know this from a performance point of view, we know it from the marketing side. Our clients are great live and millions of people come to watch them perform. Because each live event is singular, it needs its own promotion strategy. There is only one goal: to get bums on seats.
Getting in right first time
Nobody wants to see empty seats. We develop strategies that build on our client’s style and existing audience to sell out shows. Often that means coordinating multiple channels, websites, press and paid advertising. Over the last ten years, we have worked with Jimmy Carr (five tours), Micky Flanagan (3), Jack Whitehall (3), Frankie Boyle (2), Sarah Millican (1) to sell upwards of ten million tickets.
A show only happens once but fans are for life. We use live events to grow our clients’ audiences for the long-term. In the case of Micky Flanagan and Jack Whitehall, for example, we have used their tours to increase the people on their mailing lists by 400 % (from 30,000 to 150,000, and 25,000 to 100,000 respectively).
It doesn’t stop at live
We work closely with management and promoters to ensure the digital strategy is delivered in line with the long-term goals. We manage social media activity and websites up to tour’s launch and sustain the momentum until it becomes a DVD or Netflix show. Jimmy Carr’s DVDs alone have sold more than 1.2 million copies.
We worked on the promotion of Micky Flanagan’s, An’ Another Fing, which is the biggest-ever comedy tour in the UK. It sold an astonishing 600,000 tickets, sold out twelve O2 arenas and filled 16 London venues – that’s another record.
Fairs & festivals
County fairs can be a bit of a hubbub, a bit hectic, a bit wild: it’s part of the fun. But the logistics behind them must be the opposite. The website and management software are an essential tool to keep it all under control. We help the biggest do just that: the San Diego County Fair is the largest county fair in North America. Every year, more than 1.6 million visitors attend five thousand events over one month.
We love live
The stage is truth. The pressure is enormous but so are the rewards for getting it right. That’s why we work in entertainment – because nothing is as powerful as seeing a venue full of people having a great time, and giving the gift of laughter.
