It’s a question you should always ask. And ideally, you need to ask it before your website design agency gets started. You need to know, up front, if you’ll need ongoing support once your site is launched and live, or if you can do it yourself.

To save you having to ask, here’s the answer! When you work with us, your website-owning life is extremely simple, and you have plenty of choice as to the level of site maintenance you choose, assuming you need any support at all. Plenty of people don’t.

WordPress sites are ridiculously easy to manage

We design and develop all our clients’ websites using WordPress, one of the planet’s most familiar, simple, elegant and current website platforms / content management systems. It’s so simple that if you can manage to get to grips with Facebook, you’ll find it a breeze to drive.

WordPress means that every site designed, developed and built by us is naturally easy to maintain as long as you have a few core competencies, and perhaps some simple training in how to use the WordPress back-end interface.

If that sounds like you, that’s fine, we’ll pull out all the stops to make sure you know everything you need about keeping everything spick and span, ship-shape and Bristol fashion.

On the other hand, you might not want anything to do with the guts of your site. If you’d rather eat worms than get involved with ongoing website maintenance in any way, shape or form, that’s fine too. We believe it’s important to make ongoing support optional instead of forcing people into it.

Flexible, simple website maintenance agreements

What do our clients end up doing? Most of the people and businesses we work with prefer us to take the responsibility. They’re far too busy running their companies to take care of a website, which is fair enough. We know exactly how tough it can be to get everything done, and how difficult it can be to change your focus and learn new stuff when you’re swamped.

That’s why we’ve decided to create a suite of individual website maintenance plans. They’re all affordable, all simple, and there’ll be a plan perfect for your needs. We’re calling the initiative MassWP, and we’ll be launching it shortly.

The rationale behind on-going support

You need time to focus on strategy, admin, marketing and customer care to run your business efficiently. You don’t want to be fighting with IT when you’d rather focus on your bottom line.

We’ve been talking about our WordPress support ideas with our clients for a few weeks now, and it looks like they’ll genuinely appreciate us being on hand to help with website updates, maintenance issues and fixes.

If the thought of site maintenance puts you right off approaching a web design agency, why not try us? We offer much more than site design and redesign. We’re in it for the long haul, too. If you want us to be your WordPress site maintenance partners, you’ve got it.
